Payroll Processing Management
- Review and maintain payroll administration processes and procedures
- Document payroll process
- Monitor legislative changes and implement
- Sign off variance reports for all payrolls
- Review all payroll accounting reconciliations
- Ensure payroll accurately processed
- Lead payroll processes
- Review monthly reports for accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement of payroll processing within the group
Legislative responsibilities
- Implement all increase in accordance with applicable rules
- IRP 5 5 submissions
- Annual COID returns
- Monthly UIF Declarations
Payroll Administration support to Group
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationship with all heads across the Group
- Manage the timeous resolution of payroll queries by attending to escalated queries and reviewing unresolved queries
- Staff Benefit and Compensation communication to all relevant stakeholders
Budget Management
- Input into the annual departmental budget
- Contribute to capacity planning for department
Staff management
- Participate in the recruitment of payroll staff
- Conduct performance reviews to measure performance against agreed objectives
- Lead on all payroll projects within the Group
Desired experiences and qualifications
- Matric/Grade 12
- 10 years experience within an SAP environment
- Advanced Excel
- SAP Payroll, Personnel administration and Time
- 5 years of payroll supervisory experience
